6LoWPAN and CoRE Tutorials

I just gave a lecture about 6LoWPAN at the "IAB Tutorial on Interconnecting Smart Objects with the Internet" in Prague.

Here are the slides I used:

  1. Hi.
I’m not too familiar with how to test a product that I want to sell on the market. I guess I need EMC testing and CE marking…
Say for example I want a product using 6lowpan, using a transceiver like CC2520.

What kind of approval of the product do I need before I manufacture them and sell them?

Would it be more expensive to implement 6lowpan myself into a MCU and using a IEEE 802.15.4 transceiver, then to use for example an existing Zigbee module?
(I guess the IEEE 802.15.4transceiver chip comes preprogrammed with an IEEE adress from the manufacturer)

  2. Hi,
Is it possible to update the links above?
    thanks
